Zarina has extensive business consulting experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. Most recently, she has provided ongoing strategy and operations consulting to the Quixote Foundation in Seattle. Previously, she was an Associate Principal with the Civic Consulting Alliance in Chicago, where she managed a city-wide violence prevention initiative and implemented an overhaul of the City’s grants contracting system. Prior to that, she led projects for Fortune 500 healthcare clients at a management consulting firm in New York and New Jersey. She holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Zarina discovered meditation in 2006 when she took lessons while visiting relatives in India. She has spent almost a year, collectively, in silent retreat. Meditation is the single most effective method she has found for creating a happier and more meaningful life.
